PARIS — The Paris Public Library’s Multi-Age Book Club (Novel Idea Book Club) will discuss “The Little House Cookbook: Frontier Foods from Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Classic Stories” by Barbara M. Walker Tuesday, Feb. 19.
The group meets at 6:30 p.m. and participants will read parts of the cookbook that intrigue them and make a recipe from the book to share with the group.
“The Little House Cookbook” shares unique recipes and is also replete with interesting and factual information related to frontier life in the mid 1800s to early 1900s.The author of the Little House books, Laura Ingalls Wilder, was born in Wisconsin in 1867 and wrote her first book, “Little House in the Big Woods,” when she was 65 years old.
