Eleven indoor track and field athletes from Waterville High School recently attended the 50th annual Dartmouth Relays Jan. 11-12 at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H. There were 106 public and private high school teams from all over New York, New England and Canada, comprising 58 girls teams and 48 boys teams. Three Waterville athletes finished in the top 12 — Timara Bell, high jump, 11th; Ethan Nurick, triple jump, sixth; Sarah Cox, shot put, fifth.
