WATERVILLE — The Mid Maine Chamber of Commerce is urging shoppers to “Shop Small, Shop Local” on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 24.
Shoppers can fill out a shop local passport for a chance to win a $100 Mid-Maine Chamber gift certificate.
Passports can be downloaded by clicking here or picked up at the table sponsored by GHM Insurance in the park next to their office at 51 Main St. at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24.
Businesses taking part are Day’s Jewelers, Itali-Ah, Holy Cannoli, Loyal Biscuit Co., Jorgensen’s, Christopher Hastings, Enchanted Herbs & Teas, The Framemakers, Madlyn’s New & Used Consignment Shop, Villager Family Restaurant, Maine Made and More, Emery’s Meat and Produce, Selah Tea Cafe, Sign of the Sun, Paragon Shop, Proper Pig, Black Cape Comics, Habitat for Humanity, ReStore, The Last Unicorn and Children’s Book Cellar.
Completed passports may be dropped off, mailed or emailed to GHM Insurance before Nov. 30. CHM will also provide coffee, cocoa, breakfast goodies, as well as passports.
