Oakland Public Library holiday book, bake sale begins Nov. 13

OAKLAND — There will be a pre-holiday season book and bake sale from Tuesday, Nov. 13, through Wednesday, Nov. 21, at the Oakland Public Library, 18 Church St. Hours will be Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m to 6 p.m.

This is an opportunity to buy gently used books sold individually or shoppers may choose to fill up a bag for a bargain. DVDs and VHS tapes also will be on sale as well as home-baked items.
