Oxford Hills SCORE hosts Farmington buying, selling business workshop

FARMINGTON — The Oxford Hills chapter of SCORE will hold a free small business workshop — Buying or Selling Your Business — from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Fairbanks School Meeting House, 508 Fairbanks Road.

Buying or selling a business is different than a real estate transaction. There are specific legal, accounting and process issues that need to be understood by both parties.
