History collection added to Cary Library First Saturday wares

WAYNE — The October First Saturday at Cary Library’s Williams House will featue shelves of books on the Civil War and American Labor movement, new to the library sale.

The sale and boutique breakfast is 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 6. A recently retired college history professor just cleaned out his office and donated the books to the library.
Also available will be cinnamon buns, scones and quiche.
All proceeds benefit the Wayne Library Association. For more information, call 207-685-3612.
