Parkhust to speak at Mid-Maine Chamber leadership luncheon

WATERVILLE — Tobias Parkhurst, president of Oakes & Parkhurst Glass and co-founder of Cushnoc Brewing Co., both in Augusta, will speak at the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce as part of its Leadership Luncheon Series.

The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Amici’s Cucina, 137 Main St. Parkhurst, who started as a professional world traveling skateboarder, now owns multiple downtown Augusta buildings and has successfully encouraged growth on Water Street with many levels of civic engagement.
Mid-Maine Chamber’s Leadership Luncheon is a quarterly series of professional speakers sharing their path to success and their struggles along the way. This series is cohosted by KV Connect and sponsored by Anthem BlueCross BlueShield and Kennebec Savings Bank.
Registration for the event is $20 for Mid-Maine Chamber members until the Friday before the event and $25 general admission, which includes a luncheon buffet.
