Welchville Junction Dunkin’ Donuts is Oxford Hills Chamber Business of Month

SOUTH PARIS — The Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce’s May Business of the Month is Dunkin’ Donuts of Oxford.
The Dunkin’ Donuts in Welchville Junction is one of three DD Green certified locations in Maine. According to Dunkin’ Donuts brand, the DD Green achievement focuses on three main themes: energy, water and health, which improves the energy efficiency and sustainability of the restaurant.

The Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant is a good steward of the environment as well as the community, the chamber’s membership committee said in choosing the business.
The chamber’s Business of the Month program is designed to raise awareness and celebrate various member achievements. Each month, the chamber makes a charitable donation on behalf of the Business of the Month to the Feeding Oxford Hills initiative or Rightstart’s Christmas for Kids and Teens programs. The donation is based on at least 20 percent of the net proceeds raised during the Festival of Trees event.
The May donation of $175 will be given to the Feeding Oxford Hills initiative.
Anyone in the community can nominate a business or organization through the chamber’s website, oxfordhillsmaine.com.
