RANGELEY — Maine authors Angelo Kaltsos and Anne Morin will be speaking at the Rangeley Public Library 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 27.
Kaltsos, author of several books, will be reading from “Music You Will Never Hear: A Modern Greek Tragedy” and “Hello Officer: Ticket Please.” Morin will discuss mystery novels “Experiment One: Murder in the Lab” and “Experiment Two: Murder in Seaview.”
Kaltsos performed top-secret research and production on the first B-1 bomber Doppler navigational system. He also conducted environmental research for the first flight to the moon. Kaltsos retired after 20 years of teaching high school electronics and science in Cambridge, Mass.; he now lives in Maine.
Morin hold a doctorate and is a retired neuroscientist now writing fiction instead of scientific reports. She was the chief scientist of the Neurology Research Laboratory at the VA Medical Center and was an associate professor at the University of California, Los Angeles.
She now lives in Maine and enjoys her bed and breakfast inn, keeping bees, gardening and designing quilting art. She also teaches for the University of Maine.
