LINCOLNVILLE — Two Maine mystery writers will launch new series in June at the Authors & Cake Hour, an event at Beyond the Sea Bookshop Cafe & Gifts.
Kaitlyn Dunnett, who lives in Oxford County will join mid-coast author Cordelia Kidd at the event.
Dunnett is also the author of the Liss MacCrimmon mysteries and also writes under the name Kate Emerson. Kidd also writes as Lea Wait, the author of the Shadows Antique Print Mysteries.
The authors will give talks and readings, and take questions.
Cake and coffee will be served. Dunnett’s new book, “Crime & Punctuation,” is the first in her Deadly Edits series, and revolves around a widowed freelance editor who has splurged to buy her childhood home in the Catskills. Kidd’s novel, “Death and a Pot of Chowder,” takes place on Maine’s fictional Quarry Island, revolving around a lobstering family, and in the first in the Maine Murder series.
