State champion Winslow girls show off their gold ball

The Winslow High School Girls Basketball team poses with their trophy after they won the Class B State Championship on March 2 at Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, defeating the Southern Maine champions from Lake Region, 43-29. The team was the sixth seed. It was their first state champhionship since 2005.
