Spring is in the air, and it always reminds me of my childhood days growing up in Rumford.
We would dive right in to spring clean-up. This meant we would clean out the garage, basement, shed and anything else we could find of things to discard.
Up and down, the streets of the town would look like a sprawling lawn sale of sorts. I would sit on the porch just to watch when people would come load up their vehicles with our discarded junk and see what they had already collected.
