Maine SAD 11 Adult Ed an April Hannaford Helps bags recipient

GARDINER — School Administrative District 11 Adult Education has been selected as a beneficiary of the Hannaford Helps reusable bag program for April.
The Hannaford Helps program is designed to support local projects through the sale of reusable shopping bags. NSAD 11 Adult Ed is a non-profit program committed to continuing the education of local adults.

For every reusable community bag bought at the Gardiner Hannaford during April, MSAD 11 Adult Education will receive a $1 donation.
“It is great to be selected as a beneficiary of Hannaford’s Reusable Community Bags Program,” said Diann Bailey, Director at MSAD 11 Adult Education. “Each year we award scholarships to students who have completed their high school diploma or their college transition program through adult education. The dollars raised by the sale of Hannaford bags will benefit our scholarship fund and those deserving adults in our community who wish to enroll in college.”
MSAD 11 Adult Education has a goal of raising $500 during the month of April, the equivalent of 500 bags purchased, to support a Hannaford Community Bags Scholarship.
