GARDINER — Doug Birgfeld has opened LifeWave Coaching. LifeWave offers professional, personal and leadership coaching throughout the region.
“While working in state government, then later as consultant, I met a lot of people who were feeling stressed and didn’t know what to do about it. I thought: there ought to be a better way to help people thrive,” said Birgfeld.
LifeWave offers guidance and support to individuals and organizations that promotes personal and team healing and growth.
“Sometimes folks need practical help and emotional support navigating stressful life events, like changing careers, going through a divorce, or healing after a loss,” said Birgfeld. “We all need help navigating through the foggy parts of life.”
For organizations and companies, LifeWave offers team-building workshops, meeting facilitation and change consulting.
“Change seems difficult and messy sometimes,” said Birgfeld, “but, it can also be exciting, empowering and even fun. It’s very rewarding to end a workshop with smiling faces.”
Birgfeld has a home office in Gardiner, and is happy to do house or “cafe” calls. He even offers online sessions from a smartphone or laptop.
“People open up more in spaces they love to be in. I like to meet my clients where they feel comfortable. The hardest part is making the first call,” said Birgfeld. “I want people to know I welcome hearing their story.”
