BANGOR — The boy’s North C/D All-Stars defeated the South team 114-89 at Maine McDonald’s High School Senior All-Star Basketball Games at Husson University, and the girls North team beat the South 79-74.
Taylor Schildroth of George Stevens Academy led the North All-Stars with 30 points, while Jacob Daigle of Fort Kent High School added 20 points.
The South All-Stars were paced by Zach Small of Richmond High School with 27 points and Ian Regan of Old Orchard Beach High School with 19 points.
The North All-Star roster included Dean Grass, Bangor Christian; Chase Carmichael, Bucksport; Matt Perkins, Calais; Jacob Bickford, Dexter Regional; Isaac Cyr, Fort Fairfield; Max Mattson, George Stevens Academy; Cameron Cleary, Houlton; and Bryce Gilbert, Piscataquis Community. The North All-Stars were coached by Logan McLaughlin of Fort Fairfield High School and Ben Maloney of Woodland Jr./Sr. High School.
Competing for the South All-Stars were Kyle Ames, Boothbay Region; Cooper Chiasson, Dirigo; Devin Boone and Nick Foley of Greenville; Jett Boyer, Hall-Dale; Tyler Nadeau, Hall-Dale; Evan Bess, Madison Area Memorial; and Matt Rines, Richmond. The team was coached by Chris Ranslow of Hall-Dale High School and Curtis Miller of Valley High School.
In girls action, Kolleen Bouchard of Houlton High School and Sydney Allen of Central High School scored 21 points apiece to lead the girl’s North C/D All-Stars to victory over the South All-Stars. Sydney Underhill-Tilton of Richmond High School scored 16 points for the South, and Page Brown of Boothbay Region High School and Sydney Leblanc of Madison Area Memorial High School each added 13 points.
Other North All-Stars were Cassy Coombs, Bucksport; Rebecca Batron, Dexter Regional; Cassidy Lovley, Fort Kent; Aspen Flewelling, Houlton; Kristen Graham, Houlton; Madison Leighton, Narraguagus; Erin Speed, Piscataquis Community; and Peighton Ingersoll, Stearns. The North squad was coached by Randall Shepard of Deer Isle – Stonington High School and Shawn Graham of Houlton High School.
The South All-Star roster was rounded out by Bailey Dunphy, Carrabec; Lauren Hay, Madison Area Memorial; Abbey Allen, Monmouth Academy; Tia Day, Monmouth Academy; Brianna Plante, Old Orchard Beach; Natasha Haley, Rangeley; Gilleyanne Davis-Oakes, Vinalhaven; and Lydia Giguere, Waynflete School. The All-Stars were coached by Brian Blethen of Boothbay Regional High School and Sandy Nelson of Vinalhaven High School.
