Hannaford bags program to benefit Waterville programs in March

WATERVILLE — During month of March, the Boys & Girls Clubs and YMCA of Greater Waterville will be the beneficiary of the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program.
The program supports local non-profits through the sale of its reusable bags.

For every reusable bag bought at the Elm Plaza and Kennedy Memorial Drive Hannaford supermarket, $1 will be donated to the programs.
The goal is to raise $300 during this month’s campaign, which is equivalent to purchasing 300 bags, to fill 60 Backpacks and help feed over 200 individuals for the weekend.
