Funny things kids say

My dad played violin, and we were all sort of self-taught musicians. I played piano. Back when Dad was teaching one of my six brothers, who was 7, to play violin, we were invited one evening to my dad’s cousin’s house, as they wanted to hear my brother play. After my brother finished his song, dad’s cousin’s wife asked, “And what was your mother’s maiden name?” To which my little brother answered, “I don’t know, I wasn’t born yet.” Three of my other brothers also are now great musicians.
