NORWAY — Oxford Hills SCORE will be holding two free small-business workshops at the Norway Town Office, 19 Danforth St., on March 20 and 21.
Cybersecurity and Your Business: What you Need to Know – Norway will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 20. The workshop will cover common tactics hackers and other online thieves use to obtain a business’s personal information, the major red flags to be aware of, and the precautionary steps businesses can take to protect themselves and their clients.
Roundtable: Marketing: A General Approach will be held 7:45 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 21. The marketing world has changed drastically with data collection and analytics, content marketing SEO and social media. However, the fundamentals remain the same. Target marketing, branding and more will be discussed.
Oxford Hills SCORE is the local chapter of a national organization offering free, confidential business advice as well as small business workshops. SCORE has more than 20 area volunteer business mentors from a wide variety of business backgrounds.
