Hallowell’s Gaslight Theater to hold auditions for year’s first show Jan. 7, 9

HALLOWELL — The Gaslight Theater will hold auditions for it’s first show of the year, an evening of one-act plays, “The Lottery” and “Sonata for Armadillos.”
Auditions are 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7 and Tuesday, Jan. 9, at Hallowell City Hall.

The production of “The Lottery,” by Shirley Jackson needs many actors of all ages; “Sonata for Armadillos.” by Jon Tuttle needs three men and one woman.

Travis Burnham will direct “The Lottery,” and George Dunn will direct “Sonata for Armadillos.” The show dates are March 2, 3, 4, 9, 10 and 11.
