HANOVER — Owners of Hanover’s Stony Brook Variety, Bruce and Shirley Powell, and their family, welcomed the community to an open house recently to celebrate the opening of their newly expanded dining room.
Friends and neighbors turned out to enjoy hearty appetizers, desserts and drink.
Located at 3036 Main St., U.S. Route 2, Stony Brook Variety offers breakfast, lunch and dinner every day with a menu that includes popular breakfast items, fresh homemade doughnutsm pizza, finger food, fried seafood, sandwiches, soup, salad and desserts.
With the new dining expansion, Stony Brook also now serves beer and wine.
The store is open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, and also hosts private functions, by reservation, for parties of 20 persons.
