RICHMOND — The annual Richmond Area Health Center 5K and One-Mile Fun Run will be held Saturday, July 22, beginning and ending at the health center, 24 Gardiner St. The One-Mile Fun Run and Walk starts at 7:45 a.m., with the 5K to follow at 8 a.m.
All ages and abilities are welcome as well as first-time runners. The goal is to have fun, promote physical activity, and spend time with friends and neighbors. Staff and board members from the health center will be volunteering and participating in the race.
The health center began this race seven years ago during Richmond Days to provide a healthy activity for community members as well as a fundraiser to support building maintenance.
