LEWISTON – The Franco Center is seeking volunteers who can help with things like ushering, bulk mailings, concessions, and more.
There are many tasks that could be done during the daytime, or another time that is convenient for the volunteer. Some needs are occasional, and sporadic, while others can be done on a regular schedule.

Volunteers are needed for event-related jobs such as ushering, and concession sales, or stuffing/labeling bulk mailings as well as things like:
• Office tasks , uch as filing
• Advertising/Marketing help such as posting events on social media or events listing sites
• Distributing event flyers and/or posters in the community
• Concession sales during performance intermissions
• Set up before events or clean up after events in Performance and/or Heritage Halls
• Deep cleaning of “Green Rooms” (where performers prepare before a show)
• Provide hospitality and assistance to performers before/during their show
• Decorating, for events or seasonally
• Help to set up new exhibits, clean exhibit display cases
• Give informational tours of the historic building
• Laundry – wash linens, towels, etc. after events
• Fundraising events or projects
• Festival parking lot attendant
• Help with organizing special events
• Food service/prep for La Rencontre or other events
• Clean and organize kitchen, Wash dishes
• Organize the library
• Complete odd jobs around the building
