NORWAY – The Friends of Norway Memorial Library are accepting used book donations for their spring and summer book sales.
Books can be brought to the library, 258 Main St., beginning Monday, April 3, and will be accepted through Friday, April 28. Book donations may also be made on Saturday, April 15, Saturday, May 6, and Saturday, May 13, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Gingerbread House, 500 Main St.
Donations should be clean, gently used hardcover, and paperback fiction and nonfiction for children and adults. Do not donate Readers Digest condensed books, book club editions, encyclopedias, textbooks, magazines, or audio or video materials.
Volunteers are needed to assist on Saturday, April 5, Saturday May 6, and all book sale dates. To volunteer, stop by the library and sign up.
Book sales are 9 a.m. to noon the second Saturday of the month May through August, with specific dates May 13, June 10, July 8 (extended to 2 p.m.), and Aug. 12. The sales are held outside on the lawn of the Gingerbread House, Main Street. Parking is available in the public lot on Water Street.
