LEWISTON – Lewiston Public Library will host an Introduction to Line Dancing Workshop from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, in Callahan Hall at the library, 200 Lisbon St.
The program is free and open to all age groups. Those who attended the January workshop are welcome to return for more skill-building. Novices are welcome to come and try line dancing for the first time. Line dancing pros are also welcome. The sessions are taught by instructor Elizabeth Richards.
Line dancing is great exercise, fun, anyone can do it, and no partner is necessary. Those who participate should wear comfortable clothing and shoes with smooth soles. The dances combine elements of disco, traditional country-style line dance, Latin dance, ballroom and modern dance.
