Maine high school guitar competition deadline is April 1

MECHANIC FALLS – The Maine Country Music Hall of Fame annual Guitar Competition for High School Students has extended its deadline to April 1.
The grand prize is an acoustic guitar, which will be presented to the winner at the 46th annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony Sunday, May 21.
The contest is open to Maine high school students in grades 9-12. They are required to submit a video of their performance by April 1 to be judged by the executive board of the Maine Country Music Hall of Fame.
