Rangeley Congregational Church Women’s Fellowship donates $10,000

RANGELEY – The Rangeley Congregational Church Women’s Fellowship group donated $10,000 to charity on Dec. 18, money raised in a variety of fundraisers in 2022, including the group’s annual Holly Fair.
The money was distributed to 26 organizations, which a large percentage benefitting people in the Rangeley community.
Some of the organizations that will get donations are Rangeley Health Ride, Rangeley Meal Site, WRGY, The Giving Tree, Rangeley Public Library, Grandmother’s Purse, Rangeley Health & Wellness HELP/HARC & Rangeley Ski Scholarship Fund, Rangeley Fire Department Children’s Christmas Party, Arbor House, Safe Voices of Farmington, The Center for Grieving Children, Western Maine Cancer Resource Center, Androscoggin Home and Healthcare, Farmington Animal Rescue.
The Rangeley Congregational Church Women’s Fellowship’s participation in summer festivals and its own Holly Fair have generated proceeds that have benefitted many organizations for the past 28 years. The Women’s Fellowship thanked the Rangeley community and summer visitors who supported its efforts in 2022. Purchases made and money spent at Rangeley Summer Festivals, and the annual Holly Fair, scheduled for Nov. 18 this year, will help the club continue to help others in the community.
