SeniorsPlus February schedule offers array of classes, resources

LEWISTON — Game days, caregiver, support, exercise, Medicare advice and more are on tap at SeniorsPlus in Lewiston, Norway and Wilton in February.
Classes are held in person as well as online and hybrid. Locations are fully accessible and hearing assistive equipment is available upon request. Classes are free unless otherwise noted.
New at SeniorsPlus are technology classes taught by the National Digital Equity Center. Classes from Internet safety, iPad Basics, to intermediate Excel are available free to Maine residents.
The Lewiston location is offering a weekly knitting group, home health information session, and a virtual armchair virtual travel club that in February will feature Tunisia and Lake Louise, Canada, in February; chair yoga, balance, caregiver classes, and more.
In Norway, Game Day is 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, with cribbage, checkers, trivia, jigsaw puzzles and more. Staff will be in attendance to network and talk about programs.
In Wilton, Bring Your Own Craft and chat is 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Feb. 16. Participants may bring knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, painting, or anything else they enjoy.
Wilton is also hosting kinship support from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, provided by Adoptive & Foster Families of Maine and The Kinship Program. Childcare is provided.

Online offerings include fraud awareness, Medicare made simple, cyber-senior mentors, Zoom 101, and more.
