
LEWISTON – Lewiston Public Library, Chewonki, and the Lake Auburn Watershed Protection Commission will host an in-person presentation on predators and their role in nature at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23.
The program is free and open to the public and is recommended for ages 8 and up. No registration is required. It will take place in Callahan Hall at the library, 200 Lisbon st.

The program will include live animals, incudling a turtle, snake and owl or opossum. Discussion will focus on predators in the context of the food web, natural cycles, and habitat loss, as well as animal processes that happen locally in the Lake Auburn watershed.
