Snowshoeing only recommended on Mount Blue State Park trails until conditions improve

Dec. 272022

WELD — Recent storms mean that the trails at Mount Blue start park are in poor condition for cross-country skiing, according to the Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands.
There will not be a set track on the ski trails until the trails are cleared and more snow falls. The snowmobile trails have also not been groomed. Snowshoeing is the best bet for getting out in the woods, the bureau recommends.
The ice rink at the Center Hill entrance is is rough, but open.
