SOUTH PORTLAND — The National Resources Council of Maine 15th Annual Polar Bear Dip & Dash will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, at Southern Maine Community College campus.
The event includes a 5K run at 11 a.m., followed by an ocean dip at noon.
Registration is open until Dec. 29, as well as onsite the day of the event, and donations are also accepted. NRCM has a $30,000 event goal, which will support the fight against climate change and for building a clean energy future in Maine.
The atmosphere is festive, with costumes, prizes, music, and more.
