Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary delivers winter coats to area schools

BRIDGTON – Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club members delivered winter outer garments to three area elementary schools on Dec. 15 and 16.
Crooked River Elementary School, in Casco, Songo Locks School, in Naples, and Stevens Brook School, in Bridgton, all received winter coats, boots, gloves and hats for students in need.
Earlier in December, winter coats were delivered to Harrison Elementary School. Several items were also made available to those in need through Crosswalk Outreach in Naples.
“The club covers the communities of Bridgton, Denmark, Harrison, Naples and Sweden, so whenever we can help students from any of those communities, we are happy to do so,” BLR Rotary President Aaron Hagan said. “ Members of the Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club and our friends always generously contribute for this worthy cause. Thank you, all, again this year for helping us help the schools distribute winter clothes on an as-needed basis. Our club wishes all those in the Lake Region a very happy holiday season.”
