BRIDGTON – Friends of Rotary and the Bridgton Recycling Team will join members of the Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club to do cleanup work along Kansas Road on Saturday, April 22.
Interactors, or young Rotarians, from Lake Region High School will be part of the Earth Day effort.
Everyone is welcome to participate. Meetup is at 9 a.m. at Bridgton Community Center, 15 Depot St., for coffee, supplies and assigned cleanup areas.
Bring work gloves and wear clothes appropriate for roadside work. Organizers will supply grippers, safety vests, trash bags and small safety flags for hazardous waste.
“We Rotarians have cleaned Kansas Road in the past,” Rotary President-elect John Eliassens said. “It’s not a major route through town, but residents have appreciated our work.”
