HARRISON – Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church will hold a Service of the Longest Night at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 21, the winter solstice and longest night of the year.
The service will be held at Norway Grange, 15 Whitman St., Norway, will be an opportunity to reflect for those dealing with loss, grief, life transitions, or anything else that may have an impact on finding and experiencing the Christmas spirit.
Area clergy have been invited to participate in this ecumenical service.
Also on the holiday schedule at Bolster Mills UMC, Bolster Mills Road, are:
Saturday, Dec. 24, 7 p.m. candlelight Christmas eve service with the Rev. Bo Jackson Landsperg.
Sunday, Dec. 25, 9 a.m. Christmas Day service, a brief uplifting music-filled service provided by Laity Wayne and A-J Alexander.
Tony Landsperg and David Seeley will lead participants in song at both services.
