TURNER – Turner Elementary School is all decorated and ready for the holidays, thanks to some busy students.
Students took on decorating chores, making festive decorations for the lobby and Principal Kristen Levesque’s office. The lobby is filled with lights, snowmen, a reindeer stable, beautiful trees, gifts and a grinch. Students also made a paper chain that wraps around the loop of the school, more than 250 feet.
The girls who made the chain did not measure the length they needed and when it was put up, and yet the ends met up perfectly. Not even one chain link was needed to meet the ends together.
The project started with two students asking to make decorations. They were given the go-ahead, and every day more students joined in. In all, 27 students helped with the decorating.
Turner Elementary officials said they are very proud of all the students and appreciate the hard work they have put into beautifying and making the school festive.
Students who helped decorate are Claire Pratt, Kya Messenger, Macie Ray, Abby Ham, Adalyn Williams, Lacey Rinck, Lillian Ward, Kameo Cote, Avery Wells, Avery Emmons, Ella Boutaugh, Grayson Storer, Scarlette Sirois, Brinkley Rethlake, Aliana LaMontagne, Annah Rothe, Gabe Ward, Julieta Peralta, Kaydence Davis, Mae Iggulden, Lyla Millett, Sophie Reny, Gabrielle Gagnon, Bella Brill, Piper Johnson, Aquinnah Chretien, Harper Barry, Trevin Nelson and Parker Galarneau.
