AUGUSTA – JMG students at Cony High School will announce the results of their third annual Cony High School JMG Cereal Drive on riday, Dec. 2, in the Cony High School Auditorium.
The announcement will be followed by a cereal box domino display to highlight how a series of small donations can have a domino effect resulting in a larger, positive impact on their community.
Students set a goal of collecting 2,000 boxes of cereal for the Augusta Food Bank to help address food insecurity in their community. Students plan to discuss how the cereal drive originated and address statistics on food insecurity in Maine.
A video of the ceral box domino display will be posted on the Cony High School Middle and Senior High School Facebook page after the event.
