Leavitt JMG students creat tribute to veterans

TURNER — Jobs for Maine’s Graduates students at Leavitt Area High School have honored veterans with a tribute wall in the cafeteria under the direction of teacher Angela Courchesney.
The students helped gathered photos of veterans or active service military from other students and staff of loved ones and friends, in and out of the community, with some connection to the school. The purpose of the project is to recognize and support veterans for their service.
Leavitt JMG students are primarily from Turner, Leeds and Greene. JMG partners with public education and private businesses to offer results-driven solutions to ensure all Maine students graduate, attain post-secondary credentials and pursue meaningful careers.
