AUBURN – Auburn Public Library will host an evening of poetry based on the region’s natural landscape from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16.
The poetry event is free and open to the public. Donations are welcome.
Four Maine writers will read poems inspired by their visits to special local places conserved by Androscoggin Land Trust. The poetry appears in “Writing the Land: Maine,” a newly published book about conserved land in Maine and the work of 13 Maine land trusts.
Poets featured at the event are Ian Khara Ellasante, Margaret Haberman, Lisa Hibl, Meg Weston.
Light refreshments will be served.
