AUGUSTA – The Kennebec County Soil & Water Conservation District deadline for submitting ballots in the district supervisor election is Nov. 29.
District supervisor is the only elected position in this year’s election. It begins Jan. 1 and is a three-year term of office. The candidate is Gary Wheeler, of Augusta.
Ballots are available at the Kennebec District office at 2305 North Belfast Ave., or call or email the office to request one. Any registered voter within the Kennebec District boundaries of Kennebec County is eligible to vote. They must be returned by 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29.
