MADRID – A service of Thanksgiving is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 24 – Thanksgiving morning – at Reeds Mill Church, 995 Reeds Mill Road.
The service will celebrate the church’s 130th anniversary and all are welcome.
Known as the Church in the Wildwood, Reeds Mill Church remains essentially as it was when built — no electricity or running water, and with original kerosene lamps. The service has become an annual tradition for many families. Those attending are encouraged to dress warmly.
