RANGELEY – The Lakeside Dance Academy Annual Spring Dance Concert is 7 p.m. Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29, at RFA Lakeside Theater, 2493 Main St.
The evening will showcase the work of more than 45 dancers of all ages, and is sponsored by the Rangeley Friends of the Arts. Liz Robare will be presenting her senior solo. The theme for the evening is “That’s Entertainment!”
Dancers ranging in ability from beginner to advanced will perform in ballet, tap, jazz and en pointe. Advanced level dancers are Michelle Cerminara, Averie Flewelling, Mya Gellman, Abby Grant, Troy Hathaway, Mia Lynch, Stella MacFawn, Liz Robare, Audrey Sutherland, Ollie Sherrer, Caroline Willis and Angelica Woodward.
Intermediate level dancers are Sophie Burns, Paisley Fredette, Joslyn Kennett, Addie Knieser, Lydia Lojas, Sarah Kate Murphy, Aliyah Reinholt, Lily Stevens, Evelyn Vryhof, Michaela Vryhof, Morghan Webber and Harper Wright.
Beginners are Bella Dutile, Pippa Farrar, Delaney Gage, Camille Harding, Lilliana Hjelmstad, Abby Kay, Addyson Kennedy, Samantha Landry, Harley Mendonca, Lydia O’Neil, Ellie Phadungchai, Ana Sutherland, Isabella Thomas, Ruby Willauer and Charlotte Wright.
The pre-school Creative Movement class is Olive Clinch, Leena Cowper, Mia Dutile, Celia Grierson, Clara Gurney, Eva Gurney, Claire Hayden, Ava Knight, Seamus Loud and Tenley Philbrick.
Lakeside Dance Academy Artistic Direction is Pam Ellis. Lily Webber, an academy graduate, is Creative Movement class instructor.
There will be a reception to celebrate the dancers in the theater lobby after the concert both nights. Admission is $7, $3 for ages 7-18, and free for age 6 and under. Tickets are available at the door.
