NORWAY — The free community Thanksgiving dinner is returning to St. Catherine of Sienna Church after a two-year absence.
The Oxford Hills community is invited to share a meal with family, neighbors and friends at noon, Thursday, Nov. 24, Thanksgiving Day, at the parish center, 32 Paris St. Parking is behind the church, on Beal Street.
Dinner will begin with a blessing, and food will be served family-style by a volunteer waitstaff.
The traditional Thanksgiving dinner will include roast turkey; dressing, mashed potatoes, squash and a variety of other vegetables, followed by a choice of homemade pies.
To help with an approximate count of attendees, call the church at 207-743-2606 if you plan to attend. There will also be a delivery service for shut-ins. Let the church know if you know of someone in need who will not be able to get to the dinner.
