Comfort Angels donate support items to Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine

Comfort Angels, volunteers who make heart pillows, afghans, port protectors and more for cancer patient, recently made a donation of items to the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine, 59 Winter St., Norway. Mary Dempsey, left, founder of the group, and Diane Madden, executive director of the center, check out some of the items. Dempsey founded the group two years ago with the aim of bringing support, comfort and smiles to others. More than a dozen Comfort Angels meet once a week to make the items.
