AUGUSTA – Cub Scout Pack 684 is hosting its first craft/vendor fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday Nov. 13, at American Legion Post 2, 7 Legion Drive.
All proceeds will benefit Cub Scout Pack 684 to help offset costs of scouting for the kids. BSA officials said that scouting has such a vital role in the growth, development and social engagement for youth, but operating such a nonprofit means a financial burden on many families that can be a barrier to kids joining Scouts.
Community events like this craft fair help raise money as well as build community relationships.
