AUGUSTA — Spectrum Generations is scheduling appointments for Medicare education, plan enrollment and support services to qualifying individuals through Dec. 7.
Medicare enrollment opened Oct. 15 and continues through Dec. 7, for coverage related to Medicare Supplement: Prescription Drug Plans (Part D) and Advantage Plans (Part C). During the open enrollment period, Medicare recipients can add, change or discontinue these parts of their Medicare coverage for 2023.
The Medicare education services provided by Spectrum Generations are free of cost.
“Medicare is a complex, but important topic,” said Katie Carlson, community services director. “At Spectrum Generations, we are committed to ensuring our community members have access to free support and resources to help navigate the Medicare enrollment process.”
