Midcoast Senior College spring session Term I begins Feb. 13

BRUNSWICK — Midcoast Senior College is offering a variety of in-person and Zoom courses for Seniors in its spring session, Term I, which begins Feb. 13.
There are no grades, no exams, just learning for the fun of it.
Membership in MSC or another Maine senior college is required to register for a course. The annual $35 fee runs from July 1 to June 30, and all courses also have an addition fee, with a discount for two people in the same household taking an on-line Zoom class together. MSC also offers confidential tuition waivers to members from its scholarship fund.
Some of this year’s courses are “Shakespeare’s Henry V, Broadway’s Hamilton, and the Uses of History,” an in-depth study of Johann Sebastian Bach’s works, “Paris and the World: The Cheapo Snob Visits the City and Its International Community,” “Being Female: A New Perspective,” “Creating a Global Community,” “Getting to Know the Lower Kennebec Valley,” and more.
