WINTHROP – Kennebec Land Trust will host a full moon hike beginning 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7 at Mount Pisgah Conservation Area.
Hikers should bring what they need to be comfortable for a night walk, including a headlamp or flashlight, warm clothes, water, snacks, etc. The family-friendly hike will be approximately two miles long.
The hike is free and open to the public, but registration is required at mring@tklt.org or 207-377-2848.
Direction from Route 133 in Wayne are, turn south onto Fairbanks Road; at the end of the road turn left onto Mount Pisgah Road and proceed south 1.7 miles. The parking lot is on the left. From U.S. Route 202, turn onto North Main Street heading into North Monmouth; at 0.7 miles, turn right on New Road, which becomes Mount Pisgah Road, continue for 1.6 miles. The parking lot is on the right.
