MANCHESTER — The Manchester Lions Club recently hosted the 2021-22 Manchester Spirit of America Foundation Awards event.
The Manchester Lions Club received the Ongoing Project Award for its many drive-through suppers, supporting many veteran, community, and senior needs through fundraising and volunteering.
Margaret Harrington received the Spirit of American Award for her tireless volunteering at the Manchester Community Church. She involves herself in many aspects of the workings of the church and is a go-to person whenever the need arises.
Lion Dave Weeks works on many projects at the Lions Club and is always ready to help at the Wayside Chapel. He is always ready to help a friend or neighbor if the need arises, Weeks is an asset to the community.
