Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary golf tourney winners announced

BRIDGTON – The winners of the Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club 13th annual golf tournament, held Sept. 17 at Bridgton Highlands Country Club were:
First Place: Paul Tworog, Kevin Riley, Scott Wiley, Alex Cardamore.
Second Place: Mark Nolette, Anthony Fagone, Larry Ross, Merlin Bahr.
Third Place: Tim Raymond, Pat Carroll, Mike Kim, Chris Adair.
Golfers in the scramble tournament were of varied levels of capability allowing for even the newest golfers to compete with the more experienced golfers.
The tournament is the club’s biggest fundraiser of the year and makes its work in the community possible.
George Klauber, event coordinator, said, “Rotary always looks forward to this golf tournament. We love working with Bridgton Highlands Country Club. The staff is so professional. And we know the golfers have a great time. We look forward to welcoming them all back for next year’s event.”
All golfers enjoyed a breakfast sandwich provided by Mane Catering, coffee from Dunkin Donuts, and a barbecue lunch prepared by Bridgton Highlands.
