Maine Woodcarvers to hold Christmas Carving Workshops

BUCKFIELD – Maine Woodcarvers Association is holding several Christmas Carving Workshops from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Evening Star Lodge, 5 High St.
There is a $5 registration fee, as well as a fee for the blank, depending on the class. Registration in advance is required.
The classes are for anyone with a desire to learn to carve, as well as experienced carvers. Tools will be available to borrow, or participants may bring their own. Paint brush and paint may also be required, depending on the class.
Classes are Corner Santas, with Art Chamberlain; Kris Kindles, with Bob Perry; Folk Art Santa, with Rick O’Coin; Quilted Stocking, with Sally Abrahamson; Cardinal, with Kathy Webster.
