LIVERMORE FALLS – Spooktacular is back at Treat Memorial Library.
The event will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29. There will be stories, games, prizes, crafts, and other family friendly fall activities. Costumes are welcome and encouraged.
Also back this year is Fall into Books. Every time you check out books at the library, you are entered for a chance to win a book in December.
The more books you read, the more chances you get. The library has books for children, teens, and adults, so everyone gets to play this fall.

Those who need help with their job search can meet with a consultant from the state Career Center from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 5. It’s a drop-in event, on a first-come, first-served basis. The consultant can assist with job searches, resume preparation, cover letters, provide information on education and training and more.
Story Time is held inside the library at 10:30 a.m. every Wednesday. It includes favorite picture books, sing-a-longs, and other activities for kids.
Book Club will hold a hybrid meeting (both Zoom and in person) at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13. The featured book is “Beautiful World, Where Are You,” by Sally Rooney, as part of the Best of Goodreads’ series. Let staff know if you would like a copy of the book up for discussion.
The Bonkers For Books video, which features the latest favorites from the library’s shelves, will appear on Facebook on Saturday, Oct. 1 and 15.
The library will be closed Tuesday, Oct. 11, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
